We all survived our first day of Kindergarten!   Today we read two stories about the first day of school:

After reading First Day Jitters we made a class graph of how we felt about our first day of Kindergarten:
We also worked on our fine motor skills and letter matching for our names by matching clothes pins with letters on them to our name tags:

Be sure to ask about The Kissing Hand and your child's cute raccoon art project!

  1. This Owen's mom and I just want to thank you for doing this. I think this will be a great way to keep up with what is happening in the classroom. He was very happy to tell me about his day today. GREAT FIRST DAY!

  2. Thank you Mrs. Hale, this is our last baby we have to start school. It is still hard after 3 others to leave behind on their first day of school. Looking forward to a wonderful year!
